(c) I’m starting to think that this “going back to natural” is a bad idea … It’s sad to say but I see all these blogs and pictures with their natural hair looking good, soft and healty and I’m affraid I won’t be able to do the same. My roots so far seem to look and grown pretty well but it doesn’t change the fact that when I’ll do the BC, it might me a disaster in the end. I don’t don’t know what should do. Please tell me what am I doing wrong, help me !!! :(

Hello Nelle. Maybe you could give me some advices now, I really need it. After I went through a lot a blogs and post, I decided to go back natural, it wasn't a hard decision to take since I've had relaxed hair for not even a year. Im actualy transitioning, it's been 8 months now and I'm trying really hard to take care of my hair, but it seems like nothing's working for me !!! (c)
I understand what you’re going through. Transitioning is hard because you are working with multiple textures. I think you are doing everything ‘right’, but it may be time to leave your hair alone and allow it to grow out.
How do you style your hair on a regular basis? Would you be open to wearing braids, wigs or weaves to reduce daily manipulation?
More importantly, do you want to be natural? Did you enjoy your natural hair? Is your natural texture or the relaxed length experiencing the dryness? Which products, oils, and techniques are you using?
Last month I tried a Curlformers set.
To my surprise, my hair came out very sleek and flat; my hair had more texture and body when I flat ironed it those two times. LOL
Went out last night. Look at my earrings! lol I wore a pink sequin dress and it’s my favorite thing ever. I want to wear it every day this week. lol
I forgot to put on my lipstick until I left the house. I always end up putting my lip stuff on while on the bus or something. I think it’s an excuse to use my blinged out compact.

I’ve been flaring all week. FIbro + MS symptoms really do react to drastic weather changes. My face and hair have changed shaped every day this week; swelling on the inside, swollen hair on the outside.
I’ve also been forgetting little things (phone, metrocard) and bigger things (a date, train stops) and hardly getting restorative sleep. I’ve tried to suck it up and still make it to work. Thursday was the worst of the queasiness, dizziness, feverish, shallow breathing, and painfully shaky legs symptons. Hopefully I’ll start to feel more ‘normal’ soon.

I added amla powder to my deep conditioner, and it seems to have made my hair a touch darker. I’m fine with that, as I didn’t notice my usual grey strands in the front and on the sides. I’m not sure if I experienced any of the extra conditioning that amla is supposed to provide, but it sure took a long time to wash most of it out.
My air dried twists now rest around my armpits when curled. I never thought I could get this much ‘hang’ without using heat on my hair.
I am definitely making a turnaround with growth and retention although I am still on medication that labels hair loss as a possible side effect.
